Abstract
The main objective of this article is to investigate whether the use of measures to comply with the covid-19 pandemic can contribute to the economic and social development of Malanje Province. For the study, 90 participants were interviewed, 24 of whom were female and 66 were male. The results demonstrate that the measures to comply with the Covid-19 pandemic are: wash your hands frequently with soap or gel alcohol, do not put your hands over your mouth, nose or eyes, use a handkerchief whenever you cough or sneeze and throw paper in the trash bin, always wear masks and gloves where there is agglomeration and avoid contact with other people. The results also demonstrate that the pandemic has significantly influenced the economy of Malanje Province because the state of emergency decree does not allow the execution of many social services, but some of them fear that the interruption of economic activity around the region will lead to an economic crisis. It is concluded, in the same way, that the country starts to have more and more specific cases related to people from other countries such as Portugal, South Africa and Cuba.
